Things are going Wilde on the big screen. House co-star Olivia Wilde is on fire lately with the movie gigs. She’s got Paul Haggis’ The Next Three Days and Tron: Legacy on the way, she’s filming Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens this summer, and now Movieline reports that she’s grabbed a role in Butter, Jim Field Smith’s satire “that plays out the themes of the 2008 Democratic primary by using an Iowa butter-carving competition as the setting.”

According to comingsoon.net, Walt Disney Pictures is moving forward with a sequel to Tron Legacy. Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, the “Lost” writers/executive producers who co-wrote the first film, have started writing a sequel to the December 17 release. Heat Vision says that the duo is working on a way to round the story into a trilogy. The trade adds that no deals have been made with “Legacy” director Joseph Kosinski and cast members to retun, though options were placed in the original deals. Coming to 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters, Tron Legacy stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett and Michael Sheen.
